| How do we create genuine, heartfelt employee recognition for commitment and achievement? |

When the audience is surprised
When the usual becomes decidedly unusual
When every individual feels appreciated
When nobody wants to go home |

| To the Greeks an outstretched hand was a welcoming sign of friendship and trust. To the American Indians the hand inspires a resolution to perform great deeds. To us, the hand is an acknowledgement of accomplishment and a recognition of outstanding performance. |

| Sharing, extending, giving a hand was the symbol of recognition at the AGFA National Sales Meeting. We designed the closing banquet honoring the sales organization at a sit-down, family style dinner. In a wonderful, symbolic role reversal of recognition, 350 hardworking sales souls were served sincerely (if not always flawlessly) by 35 pairs of hands belonging to senior company management from the Executive Board to Division Directors. The symbolism was overwhelming. |
